About Elite Childcare Agency
A family-run Scottish childcare staffing agency that employs and supports its own team, places them into nurseries across the country, and treats safeguarding as the starting point rather than a checkbox.
Our story
Elite Childcare Agency grew from a simple belief: nurseries deserve cover they can rely on, and childcare professionals deserve an agency that genuinely looks after them. That belief still shapes every placement we make.
Today, Elite Childcare Agency supports nurseries and childcare settings across Scotland with staff we employ directly: interviewed, referenced and PVG checked by our own team before they step into a single setting.
Safeguarding is the thread that runs through all of it. We are entrusted with the care of young children, and we treat that responsibility as the first thing we get right, not the last thing we check. Every person we place is vetted before they start, our practice is built around keeping children safe, and we would always rather be thorough than quick.

Safeguarding underpins every decision we make. Every member of staff is PVG checked through Disclosure Scotland before their first shift, our policies are reviewed against current guidance, and concerns are acted on immediately, every time.

We look for people who see childcare as more than supervision, the kind who get down to the children’s level, notice the quieter ones and turn everyday moments into small chances to learn. Whoever we send slots into your curriculum and your way of doing things rather than working around it.
Communication
Clear, honest and fast, with nurseries and with our own team. You will always know who is coming, when, and what they need from you. We respond within an hour during office hours.
From the first enquiry to the day staff arrive, we keep you in the loop, and we would always rather over-communicate than leave you guessing. The same openness runs the other way too: our own team can reach a real person whenever they need support, which is what keeps placements running smoothly.

Good childcare is built on trust, and trust takes time, so wherever we can we send the same familiar faces back to the same settings. Children settle faster with people they recognise, managers get cover they can rely on, and over the years those steady relationships grow into genuine partnerships.
A Registered Umbrella Body with Disclosure Scotland
As a registered umbrella body and PVG countersignatory with Disclosure Scotland, we process PVG applications in-house: for our own staff before their first shift, and for individuals or organisations that need PVG checks handled properly.
Safeguarding & PVG
Every member of our staff completes a PVG check through Disclosure Scotland before their first shift and is SSSC registered within 3 months of starting employment with us, and our safeguarding policies are reviewed against current guidance. Safeguarding is an ongoing commitment, not a one-off check. PVG scheme membership lasts five years and is renewed every five years, and our staff maintain their SSSC registration, so the people in your rooms stay properly checked and registered over time.
Every employee is also given a full policies and procedures package, covering everything from safeguarding through to our modern slavery policy. We are happy to share it with nurseries and clients on request, so you can see exactly how we work.
